KIEV, UKRAINE: Family Ministry Leaders from all over Ukraine came to hear Vitaly Sorokun present the BMI curriculum “Technology and Your Family.” Friday, Dr. Sorokun presented at Irpin Bible Seminary to all faculty and students. On Saturday, the Ukraine Baptist Union, specifically their Family Ministries of Ukraine, hosted Dr. Sorokun to teach this material to the leaders. This material is written, like most BMI curricula, in a manual format designed for the leaders to reproduce and train others with it. The Ukraine Baptist Union is the largest Protestant denomination in Ukraine, representing 2,272 churches and 320 missionary groups. Pastor Stanislav Gruntkovsky – the head of the Family Ministries of Ukraine – put the entire conference together and was a terrific host. Dr. Sorokun was also joined by Myroslav Volosetsky, who explained to the audience how to adjust family safety settings on the iOS platform. These leaders are going to teach these lessons in their regional Baptist Unions!!!
