AFRICA: David Burnham (son of Jonathan Burnham) recently completed a trip to 4 countries in Africa – Rwanda, Tanzania, Kenya and Malawi. He and Dr. Lincoln Chirochierwa, BMI Ministry Partner for Africa, traveled to different areas visiting our other ministry partners and friends.

David is a business professional who seeks to add an international ministry component to his work. In many countries around the world pastors need income from outside the church in order to just survive and provide for their families. However, starting their own business takes a lot of time, and resources are slim. David hopes to create a small business investment fund and mentorship network that will provide access to venture capital and a vast network of other local Christian owners for free consulting. When the recipient pays back their loan, they can become a mentor to help others! This can also be connected to the BMI Marketplace Biblical Mentoring Program (MBMP), training young professionals how to be missionaries in their workplace.

It was an honor for David to plant a tree in Kenya, on behalf of BMI, for our ministry partner who just dedicated a church building! He was also able to meet and greet some young professionals in that area.
