Panama City, April 2025 Jonathan and Faith joined with some very delightful Christian leaders to share the BMI ministry strategical plans and also the Technology and Your Family lessons on technology safety. Pastor Cesar Forero and his lovely wife, Lynette were very hospitable hosts! Cute story: Somehow Dr. Joshua Nguyen’s, our BMI Director for Indochina, name came up. One of the pastors from Panama exclaimed that he knows Joshua!! Panama and Vietnam are very far away! It turns out that they had roomed together many, many years ago at a Christian training conference! So, Jonathan phoned Joshua and put him on the big screen to say hello and connect the dear brothers again! It can be a small world!

On August 6-8, we experienced three extraordinary days with Dr. Jonathan Burham and BMI at the Seven Steps of Christian Living meeting in Panama City, Panama. This training event marked the first session in a three-year cycle designed to equip Christian leaders to launch their own mentorship multiplication movements in their countries. It was a true blessing to connect with pastors and ministry leaders from Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Colombia, and Panama. During this time, we were richly encouraged by the biblical principles of mentorship multiplication movements, alongside the essential foundations of Christian discipleship, as presented in Dr. Jonathan Burham’s Seven Steps of Christian Living. Pastors left inspired and equipped, committed to continuing the three-year process and determined to activate mentorship multiplication movements within their own circles of influence. This gathering served as a powerful reminder of the impact that godly leadership and discipleship can have across nations. We are deeply grateful to Dr. Jonathan Burnham and the BMI Board for making this training a reality for Central America.
