BTMP PRESENTED TO ENCOUNTERING CHRIST – UKRAINE LEADERS

On February 4-5, 2015, BMI Regional Director Dr. Vitaliy Sorokun gathered the participants of the 2012-2013 Encountering Christ, Ukraine, conference in order to bring them an update on the ministry’s recent developments and to introduce the new training resources.

During the two days of the meeting, Dr. Sorokun explained the details of the new Biblical Training and Mentoring Program (BTMP), which is gaining international recognition and becoming the ministry’s flagship of training. He also taught the entire new discipleship course, “Seven Steps of Christian Living”.

“Seven Steps Received High Evaluation from the Group”

Both BTMP and “Seven Steps” received high evaluations from the group. The leaders agreed to continue to dialogue on the future implementation of the resources. In particular, there was an initial agreement to form a pilot BTMP group to which each of the leaders would delegate their disciples to be trained.

The meeting took place at the newly renovated BMI Ministry Training Center in Kharkov, Ukraine, which features all the necessary facilities and equipment to hold training events. The Ministry Training Center was opened in July 2001, and is the home of New Hope Church – a unique ministry for international college students, which disciples and commissions faithful young Christian men and women to more than 25 countries of the African and Asian continents.
