Development of National Leadership

One very unique focus area of BMI is the development of the national leader who is discipled and then released with accountability to direct his own ministry center in his home country. This leader is personally trained and mentored by Jonathan and David Burnham.  It is more effective both in ministry and cost for the national leader to train his own indigenous people.

Currently we have three National Leaders: (now called Regional Leaders because they focus on more than one country)

• Rev. Sonam Kabo: Director of BMI for South Asia (special focus on Nepalese people)
• Dr. Vitaliy Sorokun: Director of BMI for Eastern Europe and the Soviet States
• Dr. Joshua Nguyen: Director of BMI for Southeast Asia
