Dr. Jonathan D. Burnham, President
Jonathan Burnham received his baccalaureate degree in history from Wheaton College (Illinois), and earned his masters and doctoral degrees in the School of Theology from the University of Oxford, England. As a third generation pastor, he has served as a lead pastor for over twenty years. His experience as a pastor has been diverse as he founded a church near Cincinnati, Ohio, with a small group of people; the church grew into a large congregation. He also initiated the vision to plant a strategic, inner city church in downtown Cincinnati. Following his thirteen years there, he pastored a church in southeast Florida which needed strong revitalization. Also committed to education, he held the Pledger Family Chair of Applied Theology at Palm Beach Atlantic University. Dr. Burnham has a passion to teach the Word of God and to train Christian leaders. He is the author of A Story of Conflict: The Controversial Relationship Between Benjamin Wills Newton and John Nelson Darby and Encountering Christ: Biblical Themes Focused on Christ. He and his wife, Faith, were married in 1988, and they have two young-adult children who have both studied at Wheaton College.
