Ten Nations at Encountering Christ (Part 1) Conference

Kuala Lumpur, MALASIA:

Ten nations were represented at the Encountering Christ Conference (Part 1) with Dr. Jonathan Burnham! It was a blessing and a privilege to have Rev. Sonam Kabo (BMI Regional Director for South Asia) and his wife, Rita, along with Dr. Joshua Nguyen (BMI Regional Director for SE Asia) and his wife, Linh, in participation at the conference! There were key Christian pastors and leaders from Cambodia, Laos, Indonesia, India, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Vietnam, the Philippines and the USA! All these men and women traveled a long way to attend, and we are so thankful for them! Praise God for safe travels and please pray for blessing as they contemplate and teach this Christ-centered theology!

 

BTMP Launched in Far West Nepal

NEPAL, FAR WEST REGION:

BMI Regional Director, Rev. Sonam Kabo, launched the first phase of the BMI Biblical Training and Mentoring Program. There were 69 pastors and leaders from 23 local churches of this region. Interestingly, an old pastor who was formerly a witch doctor before he received Christ, now serves as a senior pastor in this region! Praise God!

 

Philippines 7 Steps in Home Groups

MAKATI, PHILIPPINES:

Pastor Steve Mirpuri teaching the 7 Steps of Christian Living to his Indophil home group! The BMI 7 Steps discipleship program if not just a course. It is a lifestyle and can be taught and practiced in many different settings – home groups, one-on-one study, churches, universities, retirement homes, villages and more! We are continually grateful for Pastor Steve and his wife Rose for their faithful ministry!

Hong Kong Ministry

HONG KONG – April 2018

Rev. Sonam and Rita Kabo have been ministering in Hong Kong, teaching the 7 Steps of Christian Living, the Biblical Training and Mentoring Program and Women’s Ministry to the large population of Nepalese Christians living in that region. We are so thankful for their dedication to the Lord and traveling so far. They were greeted and welcomed with excitement from the Nepali churches there!

Irpen Seminary to Use BMI Material

KIEV, UKRAINE

Irpen Biblical Seminary announced that they will offer a Certificate Program created specifically for its former graduates who are now pastors and who need further encouragement with practical ministry tools. The program will be conducted during one school year. The seminary expects to enroll up to 90 pastors from all corners of Ukraine this fall. Out of the program’s 14 subjects, 8 are written by Burnham Ministries. These include: Encountering Christ, 7 Steps of Christian Living, Technology and Your Family and many of our practical training manuals. Dr. Vitaly Sorokun, the BMI Regional Director, will be the key trainer!
